Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to innovation and economic diversification as it navigates a rapidly evolving regional landscape.
Speaking during a roundtable hosted by the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Al-Zain discussed Kuwait’s response to ongoing regional tensions and their economic implications, highlighting the country’s resilience and long-standing strategic partnership with the United States.
She outlined the impact of the current regional crisis on Kuwait, emphasizing that the decades-long US-Kuwait relationship continues to play an important role in supporting stability and economic cooperation during challenging times.
The ambassador also pointed to the recent announcement of a $16 billion pipeline agreement between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and American companies, describing it as the largest foreign direct investment in Kuwait’s history.
