KFF continues ‘Safe Summer’ awareness campaign at Capital Mall

The General Fire Force (GFF), represented by its Public Relations and Media Department, continued its nationwide summer awareness campaign on Friday under the slogan “A Safe Summer with the Fire Force”, hosting a public outreach event at Capital Mall.

The initiative aims to raise public awareness about the risks of fires and drowning incidents, which typically increase during the summer months, while promoting a culture of prevention and reinforcing safety practices across the community.

The campaign features a series of educational activities scheduled throughout the summer, including field exhibitions, awareness lectures, marine safety tours, and visits to shopping malls as well as government and private institutions.

Through these events, the Fire Force provides practical guidance on fire prevention, safety requirements, accident prevention, and the appropriate response during emergencies.

Officials said the campaign also focuses on encouraging the public to follow safety procedures at recreational venues, beaches, marine facilities, and homes.

It highlights the leading causes of fires and accidents, offers preventive advice, and seeks to improve community preparedness while reducing potential risks.

The General Fire Force urged the public to participate in the campaign’s activities and make use of its awareness programs, stressing that adherence to safety guidelines plays a vital role in protecting lives and property and ensuring a safe summer for everyone.
