ICS Kuwait to celebrate India-Kuwait friendship with ‘Dil Ki Awaaz’ on Oct 2

The Indian Cultural Society (ICS) Kuwait will host “Dil Ki Awaaz,” a musical evening celebrating the enduring friendship between India and Kuwait and marking Gandhi Jayanti on Friday, October 2. The event will begin at 7 pm at the INNOVA Auditorium in Mahboula, bringing together music, cultural performances and Bollywood favourites in an evening dedicated to the ties between the two countries.
The programme will feature Bollywood playback singer and live performer Alamgir Khan, along with performers Nishtha Pathak and Aman Khan. The evening is expected to include a mix of soulful melodies, popular Hindi film songs and live performances. The event also marks Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and will highlight values associated with his legacy, including peace, harmony, humanity and unity.
Alamgir Khan, who has more than two decades of experience in the Indian music industry, has performed Bollywood and regional songs and has classical roots linked to the Patiala Gharana. His film credits include songs from Bodyguard, Khiladi 786 and Action Jackson, among other films.

He also gained wider recognition through the “Mauka Mauka” campaign associated with the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. His other work includes songs connected with films such as Yamla Pagla Deewana, Rascals, Welcome 2 Karachi, Manmarziyaan, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Happy Hardy and Heer.
Khan has received several industry and cultural recognitions, including the Perfect Bollywood Playback Singer Award, UM Stellar Award and Dadasaheb Phalke Fashion Icon Lifestyle Award. He has also participated in social and cultural initiatives.
ICS said the event is open to its members, families, well-wishers, music enthusiasts and the wider community. The society said the programme forms part of its broader commitment to social and welfare activities through cultural and entertainment initiatives.
