Former minister, MP sentenced to six months in fraud case
A Kuwaiti Misdemeanors Court has sentenced a former minister and former member of Parliament to six months in prison with hard labour and immediate enforcement after convicting them of fraud and deception involving a citizen in a commercial transaction with another party.
The ruling was issued in his presence, according to the report. The case involved allegations that the former minister and MP deceived the citizen in connection with a commercial deal involving a third party.
