Surge in retirement requests after pension boost to 1,010 dinars

The Ministry of Affairs revealed to Al-Anbaa newspaper that the relevant department in the ministry has received more than 500 requests for retirement since the adoption of the law related to raising the pension to 1,010 dinars for retirees.

The source indicated that the highest percentage of retirement applicants is from the social development sector, especially employees of family care units and community development centers. The source expects that the ministry will work to fill vacancies in some supervisory positions soon, and rotations will be undertaken in some sectors of the ministry.
