Saudi Arabia has approved the establishment of a Unified National Visa Platform, a major digital initiative aimed at simplifying and centralizing all visa-related services under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The platform will serve as the Kingdom’s official gateway for processing a wide range of visas, including tourist, business, work, Hajj, Umrah, family visit and other entry permits, replacing multiple application channels with a single integrated system.
Designed to enhance efficiency and improve user experience, the platform connects with more than 30 government entities and private-sector partners, enabling applicants to access visa information, determine eligibility, submit applications, and track their status through one digital portal. It also features smart search capabilities, personalized user profiles for faster repeat applications, and automated verification processes powered by advanced digital technologies.
Saudi authorities said the initiative forms part of the Kingdom’s broader digital transformation strategy and supports the objectives of Vision 2030 by making travel and mobility to the Kingdom more efficient, transparent and accessible for visitors, investors, pilgrims and business travelers alike.
