Public Works Ministry tackles rainwater buildup, reinforces teams in Sabah Al-Ahmad

The Ministry of Public Works addressed rainwater pooling in several areas, deploying teams to drain the water and ensure road safety for all.

The Ministry of Public Works spokesman, Eng. Ahmed Al-Saleh, told Al-Jarida, that the rains had blocked some drainage manholes, but field teams promptly cleared them to restore proper water flow.

Al-Saleh stated that the ministry has strengthened its teams’ presence in Sabah Al-Ahmad City, given the high rainfall levels, to ensure swift intervention in case of water pooling.

Furthermore, Al-Saleh assured citizens and residents that highways and regional roads remain stable, with emergency teams actively monitoring and addressing any emergency issues.

The Ministry urged everyone to drive cautiously and report any water pooling through official channels.
