Nation’s Banner 2 promotes joint readiness among Kuwait’s military, security agencies
Undersecretary of the National Guard Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Barjas said on Sunday that the “Nation’s Banner 2” exercise reflects the integration of military and security agencies and helps unify training concepts and plans while strengthening coordination among them.
Al-Barjas made the remarks following his attendance at the second phase of the exercise at the Operations, Security System and Crisis Management Center at the National Guard General Headquarters. The exercise is being conducted in cooperation with the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the General Fire Force.
He said the exercise provides an opportunity to train National Guard staff officers in managing operations and making timely decisions through scenarios that simulate the challenges and tasks that combat and support units may face during emergency situations.
Al-Barjas also praised the efforts of all participants in carrying out the exercise.
