Kuwait’s real estate market recorded 154 transactions worth about 92.2 million dinars during the week of August 9-13, according to statistics issued by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice.
Private real estate accounted for the largest number of transactions, with 101 contracts valued at 36.2 million dinars. Investment properties followed with 52 contracts worth 36 million dinars, while commercial real estate recorded one transaction valued at 20 million dinars.
In terms of geographical distribution, the Capital Governorate recorded 11 private property contracts, one investment property contract and one commercial property contract. Hawalli Governorate recorded 19 private property contracts and nine investment property contracts, while Farwaniya saw 11 private property contracts and three investment property contracts.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate recorded eight private property contracts. Al-Ahmadi Governorate recorded the highest number of transactions, with 39 private property contracts and 39 investment property contracts. Al-Jahra Governorate recorded 13 private property contracts.
