Public Works opens lanes and exits on Fifth Ring Road, resumes traffic flow
The Ministry of Public Works has opened several lanes and traffic exits on the Fifth Ring Road as part of efforts to improve traffic flow and facilitate movement toward Salmiya. According to a ministry press release, the openings include the slow lane and right shoulder of the Fifth Ring Road opposite the control tower, for traffic heading toward Salmiya.
The ministry also opened the King Fahd Road exit for motorists travelling from Kuwait City on the Fifth Ring Road toward Salmiya. In addition, the King Fahd Road exit for traffic coming from Ahmadi on the Fifth Ring Road toward Salmiya has been opened.
The openings are expected to provide additional traffic movement options and improve access for motorists travelling toward Salmiya.
