MoI handles 59 debris reports in 24 hours

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams handled 59 reports over the past 24 hours related to falling debris, resulting from interception operations, bringing the total number of such reports since the start of the aggression to 758.

This was stated by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib, during the daily media briefing on the latest field developments amid ongoing Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait.

Brigadier Bouslaib presented a visual briefing highlighting field efforts by EOD teams in handling incidents involving falling debris and unidentified objects inside and outside threat zones, reflecting the high level of readiness and coordination among relevant authorities.

He affirmed that, amid the current circumstances requiring maximum vigilance, state institutions continue to perform their duties with high efficiency and firm determination, supported by ongoing coordination and full preparedness to address developments and ensure national security and public safety.

Brigadier Bouslaib reminded the public of the approaching deadline for the exceptional grace period to surrender unlicensed firearms, ammunition, and explosives, which ends at the close of business on Wednesday, April 8. He stressed that no legal action will be taken against those who comply within the deadline, while strict enforcement will follow afterward.

He added that the Ministry commends all those who have already complied, noting that such actions reflect responsible public awareness and a shared commitment to enhancing security, stability, and supporting national efforts to safeguard the community. – Kuna
