‘Kuwait Sports Day’ kicks off with thrilling launch on Sheikh Jaber Bridge

Over 13,000 people of all ages participated in the event, which included a 5-kilometer walking race, a 15-kilometer cycling race, various sports and entertainment activities, and group competitions.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, highlighted the active involvement of individuals with special needs in all Sports Day competitions, showcasing the steadfast determination and serious commitment of the Kuwaiti people towards achieving their goals.

The Kuwait Sports Day activities were inaugurated on Jaber Bridge under the supervision of the General Authority for Youth and Sports, with the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, along with several ministers. The event witnessed the participation of over 13,000 individuals of varying ages.

The event featured a 5-kilometer walking race, a 15-kilometer cycling race, sports and entertainment events, and group competitions. His Highness commended the initiative of the General Authority for Sports and other relevant authorities for the well-organized Kuwait Sports Day.
