Kuwait International Airport Terminal 4 resumes operations and expands to 29 destinations

Incheon Korea Airports Services (IKAS) resumes Kuwait International Flight operations on 26 April, after a 57-day break.

IKAS explained that the total number of flights operated at Terminal 4, which is dedicated to Kuwait Airways, since the resumption of flights on April 26 was 10 flights daily, and on May 3 the number of flights was increased by 13 additional destinations, bringing the total to 29 destinations.

Emergency preparedness and safety measures have been strengthened to resume flights. IKAS, in collaboration with the General Civil Aviation Authority, has enhanced its emergency response system and completed comprehensive safety inspections across all its facilities.

To enhance passenger safety, all departing and arriving passengers will access the Terminal 4 exclusively through the Kuwait Terminal 4 car parking building.

To mark the reopening, IKAS displayed “WELCOME BACK T4” celebrating the reopening of Terminal 4 and creating a welcoming vibe for passengers.

IKAS staffs also greeted passengers by waving Kuwaiti flags and presented flowers and Kuwaiti flags bearing “WELCOME BACK” stickers to selected departing and arriving passengers.

IKAS explained that since the first days of reopening the airport, efforts have been made by all workers in direct coordination with the General Civil Aviation Authority, the Ministry of Interior, and Kuwait Airways Corporation, so that all travelers through the T4 terminal enjoy safe flights.

Mr. Minjae CHUN, CEO of IKAS, stated: “Above all, passenger safety has been our top priority. Moving forward, we will continue to ensure stable operations and enhance service quality to provide a safer and more seamless airport experience for passengers at Kuwait International Airport Terminal 4.”
