. . . restores key international destinations amid regional adjustments; expands network with return of India and France routes

Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights to Chennai in India and Paris in France via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia within days, as part of its broader operational adjustments aligned with current regional developments.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that flights to Chennai will resume on April 10, while services to Paris are scheduled to restart on April 23.

Al-Shatti said the move is part of a wider expansion of destinations recently introduced through the Dammam route, which includes London, Cairo, Istanbul, Lahore, Amman, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Manila, and Colombo—bringing the total to 13 destinations served via the Saudi hub.

He added that Kuwait Airways continues to operate under an integrated system designed to ensure safe and flexible travel options for passengers, while maintaining efficiency in operational procedures during the current phase.

The airline has also introduced visa issuance services for passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia, provided bookings are made in advance on its flights, in coordination with the relevant authorities to streamline travel procedures.

Al-Shatti further noted that bookings can be made through Kuwait Airways sales offices, the customer service hotline 171, or via its WhatsApp service at 009651802050.
