Kuwait presses ahead with infrastructure development plans, says Dr Al-Mashaan

Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, has affirmed that the ministry is continuing to implement its development plans according to a clear vision aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving service efficiency for citizens and residents.

Her remarks came during a field inspection tour in the Capital Governorate, where she reviewed the progress of several vital projects being implemented by the ministry across multiple work sites.

Al-Mashaan monitored on-ground progress rates and identified key challenges facing implementation teams, stressing the need to accelerate work while strictly adhering to approved timelines and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

She emphasized that such field visits are part of a continuous follow-up policy designed to ensure project quality, promptly address obstacles, and enhance execution efficiency across all ongoing works.

The minister noted that the current phase requires intensified coordination among all relevant entities to ensure projects are completed according to advanced technical specifications that support sustainable service delivery.

She further highlighted that these efforts align with Kuwait’s broader development objectives aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the overall quality of life.

Al-Mashaan also underscored the importance of teamwork and inter-agency cooperation to achieve national development goals in line with state aspirations for modern and resilient infrastructure.
