I view it as a significant milestone event, paving the way for the upcoming meeting of the Japan-Kuwait Businessmen Committee. This meeting is poised to further bolster bilateral business relations in the near future.”

“Hopefully, the amicable interactions we’ve experienced today will evolve into a more substantive and constructive consultation phase, paving the way for the expansion of bilateral investment and trading opportunities. Japanese companies may find opportunities to expand their business in Kuwait, while Kuwaiti companies may be interested in investing in the development of products tailored for Kuwaiti consumers,” added Ambassador Morino

“The harmonization of the business environment is essential for advancing international economic relations, which in turn contribute to the continued prosperity of the world,” he emphasized. “Japan will chair the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) Ministerial Council Meeting scheduled for June 2024 in Paris.”

“Lastly, and of utmost importance, on behalf of my government, I extend our sincere congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, H.H.
