Six individuals stripped of Kuwaiti citizenship
Two decrees have been issued by Kuwait to withdraw the citizenship of six individuals, including cases involving persons who may have acquired nationality through dependency.
The first decree stipulated the withdrawal of citizenship certificates from five individuals under Article (21 bis “A”) of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959, which governs the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments; and another decree to withdraw the nationality of another person.
