Jahra Hospital operates at full capacity after shrapnel incidents

Director of Jahra Hospital Dr. Ahmed Khaja said the facility is operating at full capacity, particularly following recent developments two days ago amid reports of shrapnel falling in some residential areas near the hospital.
He explained that emergency response plans were activated immediately, maintaining continuous coordination with the operations rooms at the Ministry of Health, under the supervision of Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, who remained in direct contact with hospital management until the early hours, reports Al-Rai daily.
Speaking to Kuwait TV, Dr. Khaja said the hospital received six injury cases. Four were treated at the hospital, while emergency medical teams handled two cases at the scene.
He noted that injuries ranged from minor to moderate, with no cases requiring hospitalization, and all patients were discharged after receiving necessary medical care.
He emphasized that the hospital’s medical and emergency teams remain fully prepared to respond to any further developments, ensuring readiness around the clock.
