“Interior Ministry” Reports 1,790 traffic violations on main and expressways
A security and traffic campaign carried out by the Ministry of Interior on main and expressways yesterday morning resulted in issuing of 1,790 traffic violations.
During the campaign, 9 individuals wanted for absconding were arrested, along with 11 people wanted on arrest warrants. Additionally, 12 violators of residency and work laws were apprehended, and one person was found in possession of narcotics.
The campaign resulted in seizure of 3 wanted vehicles, the impoundment of 41 vehicles for traffic violations, and the referral of 4 individuals to juvenile investigations.
Furthermore, a number of field sectors participated in the campaign, including the General Traffic Department, the General Rescue Police Department, the Public Security Sector, and the Private Security Sector.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that these campaigns are part of a comprehensive strategy designed to enhance security and public order.
The efforts continue to focus on arresting violators and wanted individuals, aiming to provide a safe and stable environment across all regions of Kuwait.
