Kuwait takes tourism ambitions to Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai with ‘Visit Kuwait’

- ‘Visit Kuwait’ identity to put the country on global tourism map
- Unified tourism identity puts Kuwait’s attractions, experiences, aviation and hospitality offerings in the spotlight
- Kuwait showcases attractions, travel and hospitality at Arabian Travel Market; aunches unified bid to attract more international tourists
Kuwait has stepped up efforts to position itself as a competitive regional tourism destination with the launch of its “Visit Kuwait” tourism identity at the Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai.
The initiative marks Kuwait’s push to build a stronger presence on the regional and international tourism map by presenting the country under a unified tourism identity and showcasing its attractions, destinations and experiences to international visitors and industry professionals.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information Dr Nasser Muhaysen said Kuwait’s participation in the major travel exhibition reflects the Ministry’s drive to promote the country as a tourism destination with diverse assets that offer opportunities for development and investment.
The Arabian Travel Market, which opened Monday and runs through September 17, provides Kuwait with a platform to present its tourism offering directly to travel companies, tour operators, industry specialists and decision-makers from regional and international markets.

The Kuwaiti pavilion brings together the Ministry of Information’s Department of Tourism Affairs, Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Hotels Association, creating a single platform covering key elements of the visitor journey, from discovering Kuwait and planning a trip to air travel, accommodation and hospitality.
For prospective visitors, the pavilion is showcasing information and promotional content highlighting Kuwait’s tourist destinations, landmarks and experiences, alongside aviation and hospitality services. Muhaysin said the launch of the “Visit Kuwait” identity is an important step toward presenting the country consistently as a tourism destination.
The Ministry, which supervises the initiative, is seeking to coordinate promotional efforts and raise international awareness of Kuwait’s tourism potential. The initiative also aims to help Kuwait reach targeted visitor markets more effectively by presenting its tourism assets through a single, recognizable identity rather than fragmented promotional efforts.
Beyond promotion, Kuwait’s participation is being used to establish direct links with companies and organizations shaping the travel industry. The exhibition offers an opportunity to identify emerging tourism trends and explore partnerships that could contribute to the growth of Kuwait’s tourism sector.
A key component of the programme is a series of bilateral meetings with travel and tourism companies, tour operators and sector specialists. These discussions are intended to explore cooperation opportunities and encourage the inclusion of Kuwait in regional and international tourism programmes and travel products.
Muhaysin stressed the importance of cooperation between government institutions and the private sector in developing tourism. The participation of Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Hotels Association alongside the Ministry reflects an effort to create a more integrated tourism system.
For Kuwait, that integration is particularly significant: attracting visitors requires not only promoting destinations and experiences, but also ensuring convenient air connectivity and quality accommodation and hospitality services. The “Visit Kuwait” pavilion therefore seeks to present the country as a complete tourism proposition, combining destination promotion, air transport and hospitality under one umbrella.
Kuwait’s presence at Arabian Travel Market 2026 also provides an international platform to build commercial relationships, identify new tourism opportunities and strengthen the country’s visibility among professionals who influence where visitors travel and which destinations are included in tour packages.
The wider objective is to turn Kuwait’s tourism potential into a more visible and marketable destination, while creating opportunities for greater investment, partnerships and visitor growth.
With “Visit Kuwait” now taking its message beyond the country’s borders, Kuwait is seeking to move tourism higher on its economic and development agenda and establish a clearer identity in an increasingly competitive regional tourism market.
