12 electrical cables worth 2,940 dinars stolen from Khaitan power transformer
Security authorities are investigating the theft of 12 electrical cables worth approximately 2,940 dinars from an power transformer belonging to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Khaitan.
The theft was discovered when a Ministry employees inspected the transformer and found the lock had been broken and the cables removed. A Ministry representative reported the incident to the security authorities but was unable to identify or accuse any specific person. A case of theft has been registered at the are police station and referred to the Public Prosecution.
Forensic experts were called to examine the transformer and lift fingerprints and collect other possible evidence that could help identify the person responsible. Detectives are also conducting investigations to determine how the theft occurred and identify the suspect.
