King Fahd Road section to close for five days for maintenance

A section of King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road, also known as Morocco Road, will be completely closed for five days to allow road maintenance work to be carried out. The General Traffic Department said the closure will begin Wednesday, September 16, and continue until Sunday, September 20.
The closure will affect the entire stretch of the road from the intersection with Sabah Al Awal Road (First Ring Road) to the intersection with Khalid Yousef Al Marzouq Street (Second Ring Road). The closure applies specifically to motorists travelling from Kuwait City toward Al Ahmadi.
However, motorists coming from the First Ring Road (Sheraton Roundabout) will still be able to use the first branch intersection to enter King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road. The Traffic Department said the closure is necessary to facilitate road maintenance and complete the work safely.
Motorists using this route during the five-day period should therefore expect the affected section to be closed and plan their journeys accordingly, particularly those travelling from Kuwait City toward Al Ahmadi.
