European leaders are raising fresh alarms over the future of Iran nuclear negotiations, and Kaja Kallas is not holding back.
Speaking after high-level discussions, Kallas warned that a new deal with Tehran could end up being “more dangerous” than the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Her concern is clear: ongoing talks appear narrowly focused on Iran’s nuclear program, while key threats like missile development, proxy networks, and cyber activities remain unaddressed, according to ATP.
According to Kallas, such an approach risks producing a weaker agreement that could actually strengthen Iran instead of containing it.
The warning signals growing unease within Europe that the next deal could repeat past mistakes or worse, create new security risks across the Middle East and beyond.
With negotiations still underway, the stakes are rising, and the question remains: will the new Iran deal ensure stability, or fuel a more dangerous future?
