Eid Al-Adha Prayers Draw Large Crowds to Mosques Across Kuwait
Large numbers of worshippers thronged to mosques across Kuwait on Wednesday early morning to perform Eid Al-Adha prayers.
While chanting phrases of praise and glorification to Allah, the Almighty, along the streets, their voices merged with sounds of loudspeakers of Mosques in harmony and serenity.
The Eid prayers featured supplication by worshippers – males, females and children, for Allah, the Almighty, to grant His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah everlasting wellbeing and the State of Kuwait perpetual prosperity and stability.
The worshippers also prayed for Allah, the Almighty, to bestow mercy upon the souls of the martyrs of the homeland and protect the safety of brave soldiers.
The jubilant and spiritual atmosphere of Eid Al-Adha made a vibrant portrait of social cohesiveness and the people’s clinging to the religious and national values. – Kuna
