Kuwait Development Minister tours slaugher houses ahead of Eid Al- Adha
Kuwaiti Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Dr. Reem Al-Fulaij on Tuesday inspected several slaughter houses in Kuwait to make sure they are prepared to receive sacrificial animals starting from the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
In a statement to KUNA, the minister underlined commitment to providing a safe and organized environment at the slaughterhouses and facilitating the procedures for receiving and processing sacrificial animals to accommodate the projected big number of animals during the Eid holiday.
She spoke highly of the efforts of the staff and the technical and administrative teams in preparing the sites and bolstering their operational efficiency.
The minister added that monitoring and oversight teams will continue their fieldwork throughout Eid Al-Adha to ensure that health and environmental standards are followed and to provide the best possible services to those offering sacrifices pursuant to the highest levels of safety and organization.
