Airlines extend Kuwait flight disruptions until August 8

- Qatar Airways delays return of Kuwait operations
- Turkish Airlines warns of possible flight cancellations
Travelers flying between Kuwait and key international destinations are being advised to monitor their flight status after Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines announced continued disruptions to their services until August 8, 2026.
Qatar Airways has postponed the resumption of its Kuwait operations to August 8, extending the temporary suspension of flights.
The airline said its updated flight schedule has been uploaded to the Global Distribution System (GDS), but warned that services remain subject to change or cancellation due to operational, regulatory or safety considerations.
Passengers booked on Qatar Airways flights are advised to check the latest status of their flights before leaving for the airport.
Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines has also issued a travel advisory stating that flights between Kuwait and Istanbul may continue to face cancellations until August 8.
The airline said passengers whose flights are cancelled will be offered either free rebooking on an alternative flight or a full refund, providing greater flexibility during the disruption.
The advisories come as several airlines continue to adjust schedules in response to operational and regional factors affecting air travel.
Travel agencies are encouraging passengers to stay in contact with their airlines or booking agents for the latest updates and to confirm their itineraries before departure.
