Prime Minister Inspects Kuwait Airport Following Drone Attack
Calls for swift repairs and enhanced safety measures after damage to Terminal 1

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah conducted an inspection visit to Passenger Terminal 1 (T1) at Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday following what officials described as a drone attack carried out during the recent Iranian aggression against Kuwait.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the circumstances surrounding the fatalities and injuries resulting from the incident, as well as the extent of the significant material damage sustained by several airport facilities.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of implementing all necessary measures to ensure the safety of workers and individuals present at the site. He also directed the relevant authorities to immediately begin the procedures required to repair the damaged facilities and rehabilitate the terminal to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

The visit formed part of the government’s ongoing efforts to assess the impact of the attack and oversee recovery measures at one of the country’s key transportation hubs.
