Strong messages of solidarity reaffirm Kuwait’s standing in the international community
Global Condemnation and Solidarity with Kuwait Following Attack

The international community has strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, which targeted civilian and strategic facilities, including Kuwait International Airport. The attack resulted in casualties, injuries, and damage to infrastructure, raising serious concerns about regional security. Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the strikes as a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness, reaffirming Kuwait’s right to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
GCC and Arab Support
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries quickly rallied behind Kuwait. The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and other GCC members condemned the attacks, reaffirming their solidarity with Kuwait and support for measures to safeguard its security and stability. Arab nations also rejected the attacks, warning that targeting civilian infrastructure represents a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and security.
OIC Condemns the Attacks

The OIC emphasized the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful coexistence, while urging all parties to avoid further escalation.
International Concern Over Escalation
The attacks have heightened fears of a wider regional conflict. Governments and international observers warned that strikes against civilian facilities and airports could have serious consequences for regional stability, global trade, and energy markets. Kuwait’s longstanding role as a mediator and promoter of regional dialogue has made the attacks particularly concerning.
India, Pakistan, UK and Other Nations Voice Support
India strongly condemned the attack following the death of an Indian national at Kuwait International Airport. New Delhi called for an end to attacks on civilians and expressed condolences to the victim’s family while pledging support through its Embassy in Kuwait.
Pakistan also condemned the attacks and reaffirmed its solidarity with Kuwait. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of diplomacy and dialogue to prevent a broader regional conflict.
The United Kingdom described the attacks as unacceptable and reiterated its support for Kuwait’s security and stability, while calling for respect for international law.
In addition to India, Pakistan, the UK, China, and numerous countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East expressed support for Kuwait and condemned attacks on civilian infrastructure.
Broad International Consensus
The widespread condemnation from Gulf, Arab, Islamic, and international partners reflects a broad consensus that attacks on sovereign states and civilian facilities are unacceptable. The strong messages of solidarity reaffirm Kuwait’s standing in the international community and underscore collective support for its sovereignty, security, and stability. The global response sends a clear message that violations of international law and threats to regional peace must be rejected, while emphasizing the need for diplomacy, restraint, and efforts to prevent further escalation.
