Sri Lanka Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the people of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and on my own behalf, I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and to the people of Kuwait on the occasion of the National Day and the 35th anniversary of the Day of Liberation of the State of Kuwait. Sri Lanka always stands with the State of Kuwait in finding solutions in regional and global issues and continues as a trustworthy partner.

Sri Lanka ranks the fifth largest foreign community in Kuwait and Sri Lankans are committed to extend their fullest support for all development goals of the State of Kuwait and to make their contribution for shared benefits of both nations.

I further extend to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait and the friendly people of Kuwait my best wishes for good health, progress, and continued prosperity.
