With outstanding performances across all age groups, the tournament once again highlighted the growing passion for badminton among young athletes. The competition not only celebrated sporting excellence but also fostered teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition—core values that continue to define the spirit of school sports in Kuwait.

The Indian Badminton Association – Kuwait (IBAK) successfully hosted the 12th edition of its annual Inter-School Badminton Tournament on 20 and 21 November 2025, marking another milestone in its 15-year journey of promoting badminton across Kuwait.
Despite pandemic-related interruptions in previous years, IBAK’s commitment to nurturing young talent remains stronger than ever.
This year’s tournament saw an impressive turnout, with over 30 schools participating and more than 350 young athletes competing across various age categories. In total, 447 entries were registered—reflecting the growing enthusiasm for the sport among students.

Parents, coaches, and school officials praised IBAK for its seamless organization, sportsmanship-driven environment, and inclusive approach.
Players without full school teams were welcomed into the “Open” category, ensuring every aspiring athlete had a chance to compete. IBAK President Ajaykumar Vasudevan and General Secretary Subin Varghese led the event, supported by a dedicated team of officials and volunteers.
On the courts, the action was electrifying. Indian Educational School – Bhavans once again showcased exceptional dominance, delivering sharp strokes, agile footwork, and powerful smashes that secured them the overall team championship trophy.

ILOA claimed the runner-up position, while Philippines International English School and FAIPS DPS finished third and fourth respectively.
Young shuttlers brought out their best in both singles and doubles matches, demonstrating talent, discipline, and sportsmanship. Winners, runners-up, and semi-finalists received medals and certificates, while special awards honored the tournament’s Most Promising Players—celebrating not just achievement but also spirit and perseverance.
IBAK expressed heartfelt appreciation to its hardworking committee members and volunteers, whose dedication ensured yet another smooth and successful championship—an excellence that spectators, players, and educators continue to admire year after year.
