Science takes center stage: ‘Shaastrotsav’ 2025 returns for its 11th edition

One of the Kuwait’s most popular and anticipated Science Festivals, ‘Shaastrotsav’, is set to return for its 11th edition on November 28, 2025, at the Al Hashemi Ballroom, Radisson Blu Hotel, Al Bidaa.

The event continues to be a major attraction to science enthusiasts nationwide and a platform for students to exhibit scientific and technological talents.

This year’s keynote speaker is Raul Aju John, a 16-year-old Indian student, a young entrepreneur and prodigy in Artificial Intelligence, renowned for his exceptional achievements and contributions to the field at an early age.

His presence is set to inspire a new generation of students, families, educators and technology focused audiences in Kuwait.

A key highlight of 2025 edition will be the debut of a short robotic play titled ‘ROBO COP’, marking the first performance of its kind in the GCC to present characters as robots.

Shaastrotsav 2025 also features a hologram show and an industrial drone demonstration presented by Zain Tech, offering attendees a truly immersive tech experience.

The competition segments this year includes Rubik’s Cube challenges, Robo -building contests, and a Science Project competition.

Students from various schools and major universities across Kuwait will take part in the Science Exhibition, showcasing their innovative ideas and skills.

Organized by the NSS College of Engineering Alumni Chapter in Kuwait, Shaastrotsav continues its efforts and legacy over the past many years to encourage science and innovation among students.

The organizers invite all community members to witness a grand exhibition of future technologies and talents. The event is open to the public from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with free entry for everyone.
