Ministry rolls out month-long cleanliness campaign in Kuwait
Running from November 4 to December 5, the campaign promotes volunteering, boosts environmental awareness, and makes cleanliness a daily habit, highlighting Kuwait’s image while supporting its vision for sustainable environmental development.

Operating under the slogan “This is Your Turn,” the Ministry of Social Affairs described the campaign as a model of community partnership and national responsibility, praising the role of youth and volunteers as key to its success.
The Ministry of Social Affairs has launched a national cleanliness campaign led by minister Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah. Running from November 4 to December 5, the campaign will be implemented across all Kuwaiti governorates with the participation of government entities and volunteer groups, Al Rai newspaper reported.
Operating under the slogan “This is Your Turn,” the campaign aims to foster a culture of volunteering, enhance environmental awareness, and establish cleanliness as part of daily life. It also seeks to highlight Kuwait’s civilized image while supporting its vision for sustainable environmental development.
The initiative will see cooperation among ministries, including the Ministry of Education, Kuwait Municipality, governorates, civil society organizations, and youth volunteer teams, following a daily action plan that covers all regions.
