Kuwait envoy warns, ‘Tourist visas do not permit hunting in Mongolia

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Mongolia, H.E. Mutlaq Al-Thuwaimer, said today that a regular tourist visa does not authorize its holder to engage in hunting activities in Mongolia.
He urged Kuwaiti citizens planning to travel to the country for tourism to strictly follow Mongolian entry requirements.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Thuwaimer explained that visitors must present proof of a return ticket and hotel accommodation upon arrival.
He stressed that hunting requires a separate visa and special procedures, and failure to comply with these rules may result in visa cancellation, reduced visa duration, suspension, or fines.
The ambassador advised Kuwaiti travelers to contact the embassy for any inquiries or emergencies at the following numbers: +976 8011 1077; +976 7744 4441
