TSC, Care of the Disabled Society sign MoU to promote inclusive scientific education
The Scientific Center has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwait Society for the Care of the Disabled, to strengthen cooperation in promoting inclusive scientific awareness and expanding access to educational content for people with disabilities.
In a press statement, the TSC emphasized that the agreement reflects a shared commitment to develop educational and awareness programs that allow people with disabilities to engage with science in a supportive and accessible environment.
The initiative aligns with the principles of equal opportunity and supports Kuwait’s sustainable development goals.
Musaed Al-Yassin, Director General of The Scientific Center, said the agreement represents a continuation of the Center’s mission to spread scientific culture and ensure equal access to knowledge for all segments of society.
He expressed hopes for designing tailored programs that serve the specific needs of individuals with disabilities, reinforcing the Center’s role as a leading educational and community hub.
Meanwhile, Baraa Al-Janaei, Director-General of the Kuwait Society for the Care of the Disabled, praised the partnership as an important step toward enhancing the participation of persons with disabilities in both educational and recreational activities.
He noted that the collaboration helps foster a more inclusive and aware society by empowering people of determination to engage more fully in public life.
