Fifth Ring Road Tunnel to Salmiya opens today for smoother traffic
The project is part of the Public Authority for Roads & Transportation’s efforts to modernize and enhance the road network, improving traffic flow, particularly in the areas surrounding the tunnel.
• Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan recently opened the tunnel towards Jahra, and this new achievement represents another step towards developing the traffic infrastructure and improving the quality of roads in Kuwait.
Under the directives of Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Acting Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Eng. Khaled Al-Osaimi, Director General of the Public Authority for Roads & Transportation, announced the opening of the Fifth Ring Road Expressway Tunnel towards Salmiya on March 11, in coordination with the General Traffic Department.
Al-Osaimi emphasized that the project is part of the authority’s efforts to modernize and enhance the road network, improving traffic flow, particularly in the areas surrounding the tunnel.
