CAPT sets Nov 4 for second negotiations on Kuwait Airport T2 operation

The Central Agency for Public Tenders has set November 4 for the second negotiation session on the tender to operate and manage the new passenger terminal (T2) at Kuwait International Airport, following approval by a majority of its board members.

The decision was taken in response to a request from the Public Authority Civil Aviation (PACA). The tender covers the operation, management and development of T2, including training, maintenance, the associated aircraft parking areas and the centralized management of airport operations and maintenance.

The consortium invited to the negotiation session is led by TAV Airports Holdings, in partnership with Limak and Incheon International Airport Corporation.

The PACA informed the agency that the initial bid guarantees submitted by participating companies were nearing expiry. Consequently, the agency decided to request an extension of the guarantees from all bidders in accordance with Article 46 of Public Tenders Law No. 49 of 2016.

The companies concerned have been asked to visit the Central Agency for Public Tenders website for details of the invitation and the scheduled meeting.
