Fatal Road Tragedy in Jahra and Shaab: Two Dead, Several Injured as Police Probe Separate Traffic Incidents
Two Kuwaiti citizens, aged 24 and 19, were killed and two others, a 27-year-old Kuwaiti and 22-year-old Gulf national, sustained injuries in a severe collision that occurred yesterday in Jahra.
Security personnel and emergency medical staff rushed the injured men with multiple fractures to the area hospital.
Authorities registered the incident as a fatal two-vehicle collision at Taima Police Station, and an investigation has been launched to determine its circumstances.
In a separate incident, a woman was taken to the Amiri Hospital after she was hit by a car driven by a Kuwait in Shaab residential area.
He told investigators that he was surprised by the victim who suddenly crossed the road in front of him.
He added that he attempted to avoid hitting the victim but was unable to prevent the accident.
