Three people in police custody for resisting arrest

Personnel from the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation have arrested 3 people on charges of resisting security personnel and destroying state property, in addition to one of them charged with enabling a third accused to escape from the patrol vehicle.

According to Al-Anba daily, the vehicles of the three detainees have been impounded and referred to the Wafra Police Station under case number 21/2024, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a security source, this happened when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a report of reckless driving, blocking the road and endangering the lives of other motorists.

Immediately, security patrols were ordered to deal with the report and when the patrolmen moved in, they saw a gathering of vehicles and when the officers began dispersing the crowd, some pelted stones and damaged patrol cars, and hurled insults at securitymen, the patrol commander.

The source added, after one of the reckless motorist was arrested and put in the patrol car, two others tried in vain to help him escape, who were also subsequently arrested and taken to a police station.
