PACI designates places, timings for residential address change
The Public Authority for Civil Information is working to improve its online services for changing the residential address for non-Kuwaitis through the “Sahel” government app, so the service can be available again soon.
Sources told Al-Rai that while the online service is being updated, residents who want to change their address should book an appointment through the official platform and visit one of the centers to submit their request in person, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspension of the service on the “Sahel” app is only temporary because of system is being updated. The authority plans to bring back the online service soon, both on its website and through the app.
For now, people can change their address by visiting the following centers:
- The PACI headquarters in the Ministries Zone: Evening hours from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Jahra and Ahmadi branches: Morning hours from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Liberation Tower: During official working hours morning and evening
It’s also noted that the main building was very crowded on Wednesday and Thursday evenings after the service was paused on the app.
