Three Kuwaitis rescued after boat sinks at sea

Marine firefighters rescued three Kuwaiti citizens after their boat sank near the shoreline. All were pulled to safety from the partially submerged vessel and taken to a hospital as a precaution measure. Their condition is believed to be stable.
One of the men sent a distress call and help reached the spot the men were found clinging to the partially submerged boat, according to Al-Anba daily.
The source did not specify the cause of the incident. In another incident a pedestrian who was hit by a car in Hawalli was taken to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital. The driver has been detained for interrogation.
In yet another incident, another pedestrian who suffered injuries after he was by a car near a shopping mall was taken to the Jahra Hospital by a passerby before emergency services reached the place of mishap.
