State of Kuwait Lady Eagles Club Executive Officers take baking session

Executive Officers of State of Kuwait Lady Eagles Club  (SOKLEC) took on a challenge to attend a baking session with Masterclass Lifestyles Workshops Friday morning. SOKLEC which also sponsored ten consecutive baking classes for domestic workers were led by Mastechef Mariefe Torio and Chef Ricky Laxa, Director of the workshops.

“This is really an incredible experience, to be able to acquire basic knowledge and skills in baking popular breads I grew up with. Ingredients were affordable and procedures were simple and results were just incomparable with taste and quality” commented  SOKLEC President Annie Centeno.  

Eight members of the club attended the  one day baking class and were provided for with essential information and hands on experience on how to achieve a perfect sweet dough to create popular bakery items.

“I’m often amazed with the products of the scholars when we attend to congratulate them at the end of each session and now its clear that with right allocation of ingredients, proper procedures, products will definitely be ideal” stated Myra Taurus, participant to the event.

SOKLEC has also taken  lead in sponsoring this year ten sessions to accommodate Filipino domestic workers in Kuwait and engage in a three hours baking class scheduled on ten consecutive Fridays. Date of graduation and awarding of certificates of attendance to participants will be announced soon.

Some of the domestic workers have pursued to finish the full course and with the help and assistance of employers who were impressed with their products. Jane Nolasco of Friendi Mobile in Kuwait distributed gifts bags to everyone at the end of the class and will soon be a part sponsor of the incoming scholarship sessions for domestic workers.

Masterclass Lifestyles Workshops wish to thank POT TV Vlog for the generous support in promoting the scholarship program to reach hundreds of  Filipino domestic workers and encourage them to take part in the program.
