South Korea congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On behalf of the Government and the People of the Republic of Korea, and on my own behalf, I have the honor to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and the friendly people of Kuwait on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the National Day and the 33rd anniversary of the Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait, and wish them joyous celebrations.
I wish also to take this opportunity to convey my warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on his accession to power. I sincerely wish His Highness every success in his leadership as well as good health and prosperity. I am confident that His Highness’s noble and wise leadership will lead the State of Kuwait into a much more prosperous and promising future.
The Republic of Korea holds its relationship with the State of Kuwait in the highest regard. In particular, the year 2024 is an important milestone in our relationship as it marks the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations as well as 60th anniversary of energy cooperation between our two nations. I believe that our unwavering trust and ever deepening friendship will be further strengthened in the decades to come.
I wish His Highness the Amir good health and success, and the friendly Kuwaiti people continued progress and prosperity.
