78 violations, 971 warnings issued in Kuwait Municipality inspection campaign in Capital
Crackdown targets commercial establishments to ensure compliance with health, licensing and municipal regulations

Kuwait Municipality has recorded 78 violations and issued 971 warnings and undertakings during an extensive inspection campaign carried out across the Capital Governorate, according to a report published by Al Rai.
The campaign, conducted by municipal inspection teams, targeted a wide range of commercial establishments as part of ongoing efforts to enforce regulations and maintain public health and safety standards.
According to officials, the inspections focused on verifying the validity of licenses, ensuring compliance with hygiene requirements, monitoring price displays, and addressing the misuse of public spaces. Legal action was taken against violators, while warnings and pledges were issued to rectify minor infractions.
The municipality reiterated that such field campaigns will continue across all governorates under a coordinated schedule, emphasizing its commitment to strengthening oversight, improving compliance, and preserving urban order.
Authorities also urged business owners to adhere strictly to municipal laws and regulations to avoid penalties, noting that intensified inspection drives form part of a broader strategy to enhance regulatory enforcement across the country.
