Prime Minister leads Kuwait delegation to Doha for World Summit on Social Development
The representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, arrived in the State of Qatar at the head of Kuwait’s delegation to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha.
In a press statement, His Highness the Prime Minister expressed optimism about the summit’s role in enhancing global dialogue and cooperation to address the pressing challenges and risks facing humanity. He stressed the need for concerted international efforts to develop innovative and effective solutions to these global issues, reports Al-Rai daily.
His Highness reaffirmed Kuwait’s steadfast commitment to the principles of the United Nations Charter and its mission to protect future generations from the scourge of wars, promote human welfare, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
