Partial Road Closures Announced Across Kuwait for Maintenance Work
The General Directorate of Traffic, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works, has announced the partial closure of several roads in the country, starting from the evening of Sunday, 5/4/2026, as part of the periodic maintenance work plan, and has called on all vehicle drivers to adhere to traffic guidelines and designated diversions, and to cooperate with security personnel, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of all.
1- Partial closure of King Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Fahaheel) for those coming from Kuwait City, with vehicles diverted at the Al-Fahaheel Club intersection.
2- Partial closure of King Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Fahaheel) for those coming from Al-Nuwaiseeb Road, with vehicles diverted at the bridge intersection of the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area.
3- Partial closure of Al-Ahmadi Port Road for those coming from King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road toward King Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Fahaheel).
4- Partial closure of Al-Shuwaikh North and South Roads for those coming from King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road toward King Abdulaziz Al Saud (Al-Fahaheel).
5- Partial closure of Road 306 (Al-Wafra Road) for those coming from the Al-Shuwaikh Industrial Area roundabout and the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area toward King Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Fahaheel).
6- Partial closure of Khalid Al-Sufaih Street in the Al-Fahaheel area from the Al-Kout Complex roundabout to the Al-Dhaman Hospital roundabout in the South Sabahiya area.
