This came in a briefing delivered by the Ministry’s official spokesperson, Colonel Staff Saud Al-Atwan, on the latest developments and operational events amid ongoing Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait.
He stated that hostile drone attacks targeted two power generation and water desalination plants, the oil sector complex, several operational facilities related to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and a building within the Ministries Complex, resulting in significant material damage and scattered fires. He affirmed that the armed forces remain on high alert, continuing to carry out their duties with efficiency and vigilance, placing the security of the nation and the safety of citizens and residents as a top priority.
He added that public awareness and responsible handling of information, by refraining from sharing content that may harm defensive efforts, are integral to information security and represent an important national role in safeguarding the country. He concluded by praying to Almighty Allah to preserve the nation’s security and stability under its wise leadership.
