PAFN destroys 100 kilos meat of unknown-origin in Jleeb Market
. . . inspectors record four food violations

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has destroyed about 100 kilograms of meat of unknown origin and issued four citations during an inspection campaign after ascertaining the market was trading in adulterated food products.
This happened on Wednesday during a surprise inspection campaign. The authority said it will continue inspection campaigns across Kuwait’s governorates as part of efforts to strengthen oversight of food establishments and activities.
PAFN said the inspections are aimed at protecting consumer health and ensuring the safety of food products circulating in local markets. The latest inspection forms part of the authority’s continuing supervisory work over food-related businesses and markets.
