Kuwait Fire Force announced that fires at the Ministries Complex and the oil sector complex, caused by hostile drone attacks, have been brought under control and fully extinguished, noting that damages were limited to material losses with no human casualties reported.

This came in a statement delivered by the Director of Public Relations and Media and official spokesperson of Kuwait Fire Force, Brigadier Al-Ghareeb, during the daily media briefing on the latest field developments over the past 24 hours.

Firefighting teams, in cooperation with oil sector teams, also dealt with a blaze that broke out at several operational facilities related to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation following hostile drone strikes, with efforts ongoing to contain the fire and prevent its spread to nearby facilities, he added.

Brigadier Al-Ghareeb noted that since the beginning of the aggression, the Kuwait Fire Force has handled 98 non-routine reports, including fires caused by falling debris or direct targeting, in addition to carrying out preparedness and site security operations across the country.

He urged citizens and residents to exercise caution, avoid approaching or attempting to handle fires or unfamiliar objects resulting from falling debris due to their potential danger, particularly as they may contain highly flammable materials.

He stressed the importance of immediately reporting such incidents via the emergency number (112), leaving the response to specialized firefighting teams to ensure public safety. He affirmed that all personnel of Kuwait Fire Force continue to perform their national duty with vigilance and dedication, prioritizing the protection of lives, property, and public safety. – Kuna
