Finance Minister Inspects Ministries Complex After Attack, Vows Swift Restoration
Kuwait’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Yaqub Al-Rifai, visited the Ministries Complex following an attack on the building on Saturday evening, which authorities attributed to Iranian aggression.
During his inspection, Al-Rifai reviewed the extent of the damage caused by the strike and stressed the urgency of repairs and restoratation efforts. He emphasized the importance of restoring the facility as quickly as possible to ensure normal operations resume without delay.
The minister also praised the rapid response of emergency teams and the effective coordination among relevant authorities in handling the incident. He reaffirmed that work is already underway to return conditions to normal in the shortest possible time.
Accompanying him was Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Aseel Al-Munaifi, who highlighted the ministry leadership’s full support and close monitoring of efforts aimed at containing the impact of the incident and maintaining operational efficiency.
