PAM bans work in open areas between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m

. . . from June 1 until August 31

The Public Authority of Manpower announced Ministerial Decree No. 3 of 2026 regulating work in open areas during extreme weather conditions.

Under the decision, outdoor work will be prohibited daily between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from June 1 until August 31, according to a statement issued by PAM today (Wednesday).

PAM Director-General Eng. Rabab Al-Osaimi said the decree is based on labor market regulations aimed at protecting workers’ safety and health during the peak summer season.

She explained that employers are required to provide workers with cold drinking water, first aid supplies, and appropriate rest breaks to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.

Al-Osaimi stressed that strict legal action will be taken against companies and employers who violate the regulations.
